Louis is a classically trained actor based in New York City.
Originally from South Africa, Louis is a graduate of the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA); he also studied musical theatre at The Boston Conservatory and Technikon Pretoria, developing a well-rounded skill set in both acting technique and physical performance.
Known for his professionalism, calm presence, and collaborative spirit, Louis is trusted by directors and castmates alike for his reliability, focus, and ego-free approach to the work.
A proud member of SAG-AFTRA, Louis is best known for his recurring role as Mr. Flint on Person of Interest, along with guest-starring appearances on The Blacklist and Law & Order.
On stage, Louis has performed under the direction of some of the industry's most respected voices, including Francesca Zambello, Anthony Page, Laurent Pelly, and Trevor Nunn. His theatre credits include Banquo in Macbeth (Frog & Peach Theatre Company), Curly in Oklahoma! (Turtle Lane Playhouse), and served as standby for Sam, Fred, and Edgar in Edward Albee’s The Lady from Dubuque, in the West End production starring Dame Maggie Smith, where he had the distinct pleasure of performing as both Edgar and Sam.
